Rossignol uses a wood core made from laminations of Ash and Poplar wood to make the Avenger 82 Ti more lively, responsive, and durable than Composite Core skis. Doing their part to halt global warming Rossignol uses wood from renewable tree farms for their cores. The Avenger 82 Ti also uses Titanal in the core to add longitudinal and torsional rigidity. Therefore the 82 Ti is stiffer than the carbon version, making it easier for skiers to hold a solid edge and rip aggressive carved turns.
